The first cases to be settled among people on the Day of Judgement will be the cases of blood (homicide)

‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first cases to be settled among people on the Day of Judgement will be the cases of blood (homicide)."
Agreed uponGradeAuthentic
Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned that the first cases to be settled on the Day of Judgment, regarding the injustices committed among people, would be the cases of blood like homicide and the infliction of wounds.

Benefits
  1. The significance of the cases of blood, for what is most important always comes first.
  2. The gravity of sins depends on the amount of harm they cause, and killing an innocent soul is one of the gravest kinds of harm and nothing is graver than this except disbelief in Allah Almighty and associating partners with Him.

Whoever suppresses his rage while being able to vent it, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will call him before the entire creation on the Day of Judgment so that he can choose whomever of the houris he wishes to have

Mu‘ādh ibn Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever suppresses his rage while being able to vent it, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will call him before the entire creation on the Day of Judgment so that he can choose whomever of the houris he wishes to have.”

Explanation

One shall collect a great reward if he were to suppress his anger when capable of unleashing it, especially when he opts for patience against temptations of anger for the sake of Allah. The reward is being summoned on the Day of Judgment in front of everyone to choose from the most beautiful women of Paradise whomever he desires.

Allah, the Almighty, will say on the Day of Judgment: Where are those who loved each other for My glory? Today, I will shelter them under My shade the day when there is no shade but My shade

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Almighty, will say on the Day of Judgment: 'Where are those who loved each other for My glory? Today, I will shelter them under My shade the day when there is no shade but My shade.'"
Narrated by MuslimGradeAuthentic hadith
Explanation

Allah, the Almighty, will call out to the people at the place of the standing on the Day of Judgment, saying: "Where are those who loved each other for My glory?" He will ask about them despite the fact that He knows where they are and everything else about them. He will declare their virtue at that time and place, to show His greatness. It means, where are those who loved each other for My glory and grandeur and not for any worldly purpose. Then, Allah, the Almighty, will say: "Today, I will shelter them under My shade." The relation of "shade" to Allah is that of honor. What is meant is the shade of the Throne. According to a version other than that in Sahīh Muslim: "besides the shade of My Throne." "On the Day wherein there is no shade but My shade." i.e. on that day, there will be no shade but that of the Throne of the Most Merciful.

Allah will fold the heavens on the Day of Judgment and then take them in His right hand and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Then, He will fold the seven earths and take them in His left (hand) and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones?

‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah will fold the heavens on the Day of Judgment and then take them in His right hand and say: ‘I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones?’ Then, He will fold the seven earths and take them in His left (hand) and say: ‘I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones?’”

Explanation

Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) relates to us in this Hadīth that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informed them that Allah, the Almighty, would fold up the seven heavens on the Day of Judgment and place them in His right hand and would fold up the seven earths and seize them with His left hand; and each time he folds one of these, He will call out the mighty and arrogant ones, belittling them and declaring that He is the true Owner of the dominion who never weakens or perishes. All others, rulers and ruled, just and unjust, will certainly perish and will stand humiliated in front of Him. He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned.

Allah, the Almighty, said: Those who love one another for the sake of My glory will have pulpits of light for which the prophets and martyrs will envy them

Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Almighty, said: 'Those who love one another for the sake of My glory will have pulpits of light for which the prophets and martyrs will envy them.'"
Narrated by At-Termedhy - Narrated by AhmadGradeAuthentic hadith
Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) relates to us about a group of believers who, on the Day of Judgment, will have pulpits and elevated places where they will sit as a sign of honor for them from Allah. This is due to their love of each other for the sake of Allah and glorifying Him, and their love for each other due to the faith that they are united in. Even the prophets (peace be upon them) will wish to have their status. This does not necessarily mean that they are better than the prophets, because this particular virtue does not supersede the general virtue.

Shall I inform you about the people of Paradise? Every weak person who is looked down upon, if he were to make an oath in the name of Allah, He would fulfill it. Shall I inform you about the people of Hellfire? Every cruel, greedy, and arrogant person

Hārithah ibn Wahb al-Khuzā‘i reported: I heard the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Shall I inform you about the people of Paradise? Every weak person who is looked down upon, if he were to make an oath in the name of Allah, He would fulfill it. Shall I inform you about the people of Hellfire? Every cruel, greedy, and arrogant person."
Agreed uponGradeAuthentic
Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informed about some of the qualities of the dwellers of Paradise and those of Hellfire. The majority among the dwellers of Paradise are: "Every weak person who is looked down upon,"  i.e., modest and submissive to Allah Almighty, who humbles himself to Him to the extent that some people may overpower and despise him. If this person, who humbles himself to Allah Almighty, makes an oath by Allah hoping for the generosity of Allah Almighty, He will fulfill it for him and make him realize his oath and will answer his request and supplication. The majority among the dwellers of Hellfire are: every ‘Utul (cruel), i.e., harsh, rude, vehement disputer, or the indecent person who does no good; Jawāzh (greedy), i.e., the arrogant, gluttonous person who has an enormous body and who walks with a conceited gait and adopts bad morals; and Mustakbir (arrogant) for rejecting the truth and looking down upon others.

Benefits
  1. Encouraging the act of adopting the qualities of the people of Paradise and warning against the qualities of the people of Hellfire.
  2. Modesty with Allah is by humbling oneself to Him and to His commands and prohibitions and by obeying them, and modesty with people is by not treating them arrogantly.
  3. Ibn Hajar said: It means that these are the majority of the dwellers of Paradise and the others are the majority of the dwellers of Hellfire, and it does not mean that they constitute all of the dwellers of both sides.
