Aal-i-Imraan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَا خَلَـٰقَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا يَنظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 77
{77} Yani hakika wale wanaonunua dunia kwa Dini, kwa hivyo wakachagua uharibifu mdogo wa kidunia na wakaufikia kwa viapo vya uwongo na ahadi zenye kuvunjwa, basi hao, “Mwenyezi Mungu hatasema nao, wala hatawatazama Siku ya Kiyama, wala hatawatakasa, nao wana adhabu chungu”. Yani imewafikia ghadhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na ikawajibika adhabu yake juu yao, na wakanyimwa thawabu zake, na wakazuiliwa utakaso, yani kusafishwa. Bali watakuja kwenye Kiyama huku wamechafuliwa na makosa na madhambi makubwa.
