Aal-i-Imraan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِۦ وَٱتَّقَىٰ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ 76
{76} Kisha Yeye Mtukufu akasema, “Sivyo hivyo!” Yani jambo hili si kama walivyosema. “Mwenye kuitimiza ahadi yake na akawa mchamungu.” Yani alitimiza haki za Mwenyezi Mungu na haki za viumbe vyake, kwani huyu ndiye anayemcha Mwenyezi Mungu na Mwenyezi Mungu anampenda. Yani na yule ambaye ni kinyume na hilo, na hakutimiza ahadi yake na mikataba yake ambayo iko baina yake na viumbe. Na wala hakumcha Mwenyezi Mungu, basi hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anamchukia, na atamlipa kwa hayo adhabu kubwa kabisa.
