Explained ḥadīths

The Hour will not come until you fight the Jews: until the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say: O Muslim, this is a Jew behind me; kill him

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not come until you fight the Jews: until the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say: O Muslim, this is a Jew behind me; kill him."

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) reported that the Hour will not occur until the Muslims and the Jews fight each other - until when a Jew flees to hide behind a stone from the Muslims, Allah will make the stone speak and it will call out to the Muslim that there is a Jew behind it, so that he will go and kill him.

Benefits
  1. The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) reported about some future and unseen things, as revealed to him by Allah Almighty - and they will surely take place.
  2. The Muslims and the Jews will fight each other at the end of time, and this is one of the portents of the Hour.
  3. Islam will endure until the Day of Judgment and prevail over all other religions.
  4. Allah Almighty supports the Muslims against their enemy, and part of this support is that He will make the stones speak at the end of time.
