This is a tafsīr in a language other than Arabic as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL’s record does not say who wrote or translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no licence for the text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 7
اے لوگو جنھوں نے کفر کیا! نہ عذر پیش کرو تم آج، یقیناً بدلہ دیے جاؤ گے تم جو کچھ تھے تم عمل کرتے(7)
[7] یعنی قیامت کے روز ان الفاظ میں جہنمیوں کو زجر و توبیخ کی جائے گی، پس ان سے کہا جائے گا :﴿ يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لَا تَعۡتَذِرُوا الۡيَوۡمَ﴾ ’’اے کافرو! آج عذر مت پیش کرو۔‘‘ یعنی عذر پیش کرنے کا وقت چلا گیا اور اس کا فائدہ ختم ہو گیا، اب تو اعمال کی جزا و سزا کے سوا کچھ باقی نہیں اور تم نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے انکار، اس کی آیات کی تکذیب اور اس کے رسولوں اور اولیاء کے ساتھ جنگ کے سوا کچھ آگے نہیں بھیجا۔
