Al-An'aam
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَـٰهُ مَلَكًا لَّجَعَلْنَـٰهُ رَجُلًا وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ 9
{9} Na pamoja na hayo, ikiwa Malaika angeteremshwa kwao, hawangeweza kupokea kutoka kwake, wala hawangeweza kustahimili hilo, wala uwezo wao unaoisha haungeweza hilo. "Na kama tungelimfanya Malaika, bila ya shaka tungelimfanya kuwa mwanamume" kwa sababu hekima haitaki isipokuwa hilo; "na tungeliwatilia matatizo yale wanayoyatatiza wao." Yaani, jambo hilo lingeliwachanganya, na hilo ni kwa sababu walivyojichanganya wenyewe. Kwa maana Walijenga mambo yao juu ya kanuni hii ambayo ina mkanganyiko na kutobainisha haki. Na haki ilipowajia kwa njia zake sahihi na kanuni zake, ambazo ndizo kanuni zake halisi, hilo halikuweza kuwaongoa huku wengine wakiongoka kwalo. Na dhambi ni yao wenyewe kwa sababu walijifungia wenyewe milango ya uwongofu na wakajifungulia milango ya upotovu.
