Al-An'aam
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ 40
{40} Yeye Mtukufu anamwambia Mtume wake, "Sema" uwaambie wale wanaomshirikisha Mwenyezi Mungu, wanaolinganisha na asiyekuwa yeye. "Mwaonaje ikiwajia adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, au ikawajia hiyo Saa, asiyekuwa Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye mtakayemuomba, ikiwa nyinyi ni wakweli?" Yaani, ikiwa taabu hizi zitatokea na dhiki hizi ambazo analazimika kuzizuia. Je, mtawaomba miungu wenu na masanamu yenu au mtamuomba Mola wenu Mlezi, Mfalme wa Haki na aliye wazi?
