Al-Baqara
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُۥٓ أَجْرُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ 112
(112) Kisha Mwenyezi Mungu akataja dalili zilizo wazi, zenye kujumuisha kila mtu, akasema: "Sivyo hivyo!" yani sio kwa matamanio yenu wala madai yenu. Lakini "yeyote anayeelekeza uso wake kwa Mwenyezi Mungu;" yani anayemfanyia Mwenyezi Mungu peke yake matendo yake, huku amemwelekea kwa moyo wake "naye ni mtenda mema" katika kumwabudu Mola wake Mlezi, kwa kumwabudu kwa sheria yake, basi hao ndio watu wa Peponi peke yao. Nao wana malipo yao kwa Mola wao Mlezi. Nayo ni Pepo iliyomo pamoja na ilivyojumuisha ndani yake miongoni mwa neema "wala haitakuwa hofu juu yao wala hawatahuzunika." Basi wakapata yanayotamaniwa, na wakaokoka kutokana na yanayohofisha. Na inafahamika kutoka humo kwamba asiyekuwa hivyo, basi huyo ni katika watu wa Motoni walioangamia. Hivyo, hakuna wokovu wowote ila kwa watu wenye ikhlasi (wanomfanyia matendo Mwenyezi Mungu peke yake) kwa mwabudiwa wao na kumfuata Mtume (wa Mwenyezi Mungu).
