Al-Qadr
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ 5
(5) ﴾ سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ ﴿ "Malam itu (penuh) kesejahteraan," yakni sejahtera dari berbagai aib dan keburukan karena banyaknya kebaikan pada malam itu ﴾ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ ﴿ "sampai terbit fajar," yakni bermula sejak tenggelamnya matahari hingga terbitnya fajar. Berbagai hadits mutawatir banyak menyebutkan keutamaannya,[147] malam itu berada di bulan Ramadhan pada sepuluh malam terakhir khususnya, dan terutama pada malam-malam ganjil. Malam qadar berlaku setiap tahun hingga Kiamat tiba. Karena itu Nabi a beri'tikaf dan mem-perbanyak ibadah pada sepuluh hari terakhir bulan Ramadhan demi mengharapkan malam qadar. Wallahu a'lam.
