This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ 7
(7) ﴾ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ ﴿ "Sesungguhnya Rabbmu, Dia-lah Yang Paling Mengetahui siapa yang sesat dari jalan-Nya; dan Dia-lah Yang Paling Mengetahui orang-orang yang mendapat petunjuk." Dalam ayat ini terdapat ancaman untuk orang-orang zhalim, janji baik untuk mereka yang mendapatkan petunjuk, dan penjelasan tentang hikmah Allah سبحانه وتعالى yang memberi hidayah pada orang yang layak mendapatkannya, bukan pada lainnya.
