Al-An'aam 6:8
الأنعاموَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًا لَّقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ
They say: Why has no angel been sent down to him[2]? If We did send down an angel, the matter would have been decided and then they would not be given any respite.

And they say, "Why was there not sent down to him an angel?"[294] But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided;[295] then they would not be reprieved.

[295] They would have been destroyed immediately with no chance for repentance.
