Az-Zukhruf 43:8
الزخرففَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
So We destroyed them, although they were greater in might than these [Pagans][4], and the stories of the earlier nations have already been related[5].
