Aal-i-Imraan 3:127
آل عمرانلِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنقَلِبُوا۟ خَآئِبِينَ
in order to destroy a section of the disbelievers or disgrace them, so they may turn back utterly disappointed.
