Al-Baqara 2:10
البقرةفِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْذِبُونَ
In their hearts is a sickness[8], and Allah increased their sickness, and they will have a painful punishment for their persistent lying.
[8] The "sickness" mentioned here includes doubt, hypocrisy, arrogance and disbelief.
