Salmān (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The polytheists said to us: I see that your companion teaches you everything, even how to relieve yourselves. He said: Yes, indeed. He forbade us from using our right hand for cleaning ourselves, or facing the Qiblah (direction of prayer), and he prohibited us from using dung and bones, and said: "None of you should clean himself with less than three stones."

Translation: HadeethEnc.comIts explanation

The source records no grading for this narration.

Where the Encyclopedia of Translated Prophetic Hadiths (HadeethEnc.com) has the very text of a narration, its translation stands under that narration and is named. The two were paired by program, from the Arabic alone: the entry’s whole text, with the Companion it names, is the end of the narration letter for letter. Nobody has checked the pairing, and Sabīl’s reviewers have not examined the translation. The Arabic is the text.

Book 2 · The Book of Purification

The Arabic text, the numbering, the book names and the gradings are shown exactly as they stand in an open dataset (hadith-api). Sabīl has not yet verified its accuracy or its rights, and its scholarly review has not begun. Until then, check a narration against a printed edition before relying on it.
