Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: In the year of Al-Hudaybiyah, we slaughtered with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) a camel on behalf of seven persons and a cow on behalf of seven persons.
Where the Encyclopedia of Translated Prophetic Hadiths (HadeethEnc.com) has the very text of a narration, its translation stands under that narration and is named. The two were paired by program, from the Arabic alone: the entry’s whole text, with the Companion it names, is the end of the narration letter for letter. Nobody has checked the pairing, and Sabīl’s reviewers have not examined the translation. The Arabic is the text.

Sabīl has not yet verified its accuracy or its rights, and its scholarly review has not begun. Until then, check a narration against a printed edition before relying on it.
