Explained ḥadīths

When the dwellers of Paradise enter Paradise, he said: Allah Almighty will say: Do you want Me to give you anything more?

Sohaib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the dwellers of Paradise enter Paradise, he said: Allah Almighty will say: Do you want Me to give you anything more? They will say: Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Hellfire? He said: He will then lift the veil, and out of all the things they are given, nothing will be dearer to them than looking at their Almighty Lord."

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informs that when the dwellers of Paradise enter Paradise, Allah Almighty will say to them: Do you want Me to give you anything more? All the dwellers of Paradise will say: Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Hellfire? Allah will, then, remove and lift the veil, and His veil is Light, and out of all the things they are given, nothing will be dearer to them than looking at their Almighty Lord.

Benefits
  1. The veil will be lifted from the dwellers of Paradise, and they will, thus, see their Lord, whereas the disbelievers will be deprived of this.
  2. The greatest bliss in Paradise is that the believers see their Lord.
  3. All the dwellers of Paradise will see their Almighty Lord regardless of their different ranks.
  4. The grace that Allah bestows upon the believers by admitting them to Paradise.
  5. The importance of hastening to Paradise through offering righteous deeds and obeying Allah Almighty and His Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him).
