The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Qatadah through a different chain of narrators. This version add:He said: Messenger of Allah, tell me about keeping fast on Monday and Thursday. He said: On it I was born, and on it the Qur'an was first revealed to me

Book 14 · Fasting (Kitab Al-Siyam)

The Arabic text, the numbering, the book names and the gradings are shown exactly as they stand in an open dataset (hadith-api). Sabīl has not yet verified its accuracy or its rights, and its scholarly review has not begun. Until then, check a narration against a printed edition before relying on it.
