الجواهر الحسان في تفسير القرآنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

طسٓمٓ 1 تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ 2 لَعَلَّكَ بَـٰخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ 3 إِن نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ ءَايَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَـٰقُهُمْ لَهَا خَـٰضِعِينَ 4
وهي مكّيّة كلّها في قول الجمهور
قوله تعالى: طسم تِلْكَ آياتُ الْكِتابِ الْمُبِينِ لَعَلَّكَ باخِعٌ نَفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ تقدم الكلام على الحروف التي في أوائل السور، والباخع: القاتل والمُهْلِكُ نَفْسَه بالهم، والخضوعُ للآية المنزلة إمَّا لخوف هلاك كنتق الجبل على بني إسرائيل، وإمَّا لأجل الوضوح وبَهْرِ العقول، بحيث يقع الإذعان لها. والأعناق الجارحة المعلومة، وذلك أَنَّ خضوع العنق والرقبة هو علامة الذلة والانقياد.
وقيل: المراد بالأعناق جماعتهم يقال: جاء عنق من الناس، أي: جماعة.
