جامع البيان في تأويل آي القرآنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ 22 قَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَأُبَلِّغُكُم مَّآ أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِۦ وَلَـٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ 23
القول في تأويل قوله تعالى: ﴿قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ (٢٢) ﴾
يقول تعالى ذكره: قالت عاد لهود، إذ قال لهم لا تعبدوا إلا الله: إني أخاف عليكم عذاب يوم عظيم، أجئتنا يا هود لتصرفنا عن عبادة آلهتنا إلى عبادة ما تدعونا إليه، وإلى اتباعك على قولك.
وبنحو الذي قلنا في ذلك قال أهل التأويل.
ذكر من قال ذلك:
⁕ حدثني يونس، قال: أخبرنا ابن وهب، قال: قال ابن زيد، في قوله ﴿أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا﴾ قال: لتزيلنا، وقرأ ﴿إِنْ كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا لَوْلا أَنْ صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا﴾ قال: تضلنا وتزيلنا وتأفكنا ﴿فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا﴾ من العذاب على عبادتنا ما نعبد من الآلهة ﴿إِنْ كُنْتُ﴾ من أهل الصدق في قوله وعداته.
