جامع البيان في تأويل آي القرآنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيمٌ 10
القول في تأويل قوله تعالى: ﴿وَلَوْلا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيمٌ (١٠) ﴾
يقول تعالى ذكره: ولولا فضل الله عليكم أيها الناس ورحمته بكم، وأنه عَوّاد على خلقه بلطفه وطوله، حكيم في تدبيره إياهم، وسياسته لهم، لعاجلكم بالعقوبة على معاصيكم وفضح أهل الذنوب منكم بذنوبهم، ولكنه ستر عليكم ذنوبكم وترك فضيحتكم بها عاجلا رحمة منه بكم، وتفضلا عليكم، فاشكروا نعمه وانتهوا عن التقدّم عما عنه نهاكم من معاصيه، وترك الجواب في ذلك، اكتفاء بمعرفة السامع المراد منه.
