جامع البيان في تأويل آي القرآنThis is the Arabic text of a classical tafsīr as the Quranic Universal Library (QUL, by Tarteel) has it, taken through the open copy of QUL’s data that spa5k/tafsir_api keeps. QUL does not say which printed edition it follows and states no licence for the texts, so the right to show them is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book or a manuscript, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there. Where the text carries a note of an editor’s, in double brackets, it is shown as it stands. There is no translation yet.

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَآئِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ ٱلْخَلْقِ غَـٰفِلِينَ 17
القول في تأويل قوله تعالى: ﴿وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَائِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غَافِلِينَ (١٧) ﴾
يقول تعالى ذكره: ولقد خلقنا فوقكم أيها الناس سبع سموات، بعضهن فوق بعض، والعرب تسمي كل شيء فوق شيء طريقة. وإنما قيل للسموات السبع سبع طرائق؛ لأن بعضهنّ فوق بعض، فكلّ سماء منهنّ طريقة.
وبنحو الذي قلنا في تأويل ذلك قال أهل التأويل.
ذكر من قال ذلك:
⁕ حدثني يونس، قال: أخبرنا ابن وهب، قال: قال ابن زيد في قول الله: ﴿وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَائِقَ﴾ قال: الطرائق: السموات.

وقوله: ﴿وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غَافِلِينَ﴾
يقول: وما كنا في خلقنا السموات السبع فوقكم، عن خلقنا الذي تحتها غافلين، بل كنا لهم حافظين من أن تسقط عليهم فتهلكهم.
