Al-Balad
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. أَلَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ عَيْنَيْنِ 8 وَلِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ 9 وَهَدَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلنَّجْدَيْنِ 10
{8 - 10} Kisha akamfanya kutambua neema zake, akasema: "Kwani hatukumpa macho mawili? Na ulimi, na midomo miwili" ili awe na mwonekano mzuri, na kwa ajili ya kuona kutamka na manufaa mengineyo anayoyahitaji? Hizi ni neema za duniani. Kisha akasema kuhusu neema za kidini: "Na tukambainishia zote njia mbili?" Yaani, njia ya heri na njia ya uovu. Na tukambainishia uwongofu na upotofu. Basi neema hizi nyingi zinamtaka mja kutimiza haki za Mwenyezi Mungu na kumshukuru kwa neema zake, na wala asizitumie kumuasi Mwenyezi Mungu.
