Al-Mutaffifin
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَـٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍ 7 وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ 8 كِتَـٰبٌ مَّرْقُومٌ 9
{7 - 9} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anasema: "Hasha! Hakika maandiko ya wakosefu." Hili linamjumuisha kila mwovu kama vile makafiri, wanafiki na wale wanaovuka mipaka. "Bila ya shaka yamo katika Sijjin" Kisha akaeleza hilo kwa kusema: “Unajua ni nini Sijjin? Kitabu kilichoandikwa." Yaani, ni kitabu ambacho ndani yake yametajwa matendo yao maovu yao. Na Sijjin pia ni mahali pembamba, penye dhiki, napo ni kinyume cha Aliyyin, ambapo ni mahali pa Kitabu cha walio wema, kama itakavyokuja. Pia imesemwa kwamba Sijjin ni chini ya ardhi ya saba, ambapo ni mahali watakapoingia waovu wakae huko milele katika maisha yao ya Akhera.
