Al-Muddaththir
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

وَٱلرُّجْزَ فَٱهْجُرْ 5
{5} Ikiwa ameamriwa kuwa safi kwa nje, basi ni kwa sababu usafi wa nje ni katika utimilifu wa usafi wa ndani: "Na yaliyo machafu yahame!" Inawezekana kwamba kinachokusudiwa na uchafu ni masanamu na vyote vinavyoabudiwa badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Kwa hivyo akamuamuru kuyaacha na kujiweka mbali nayo, na yote yaliyonasibishwa nayo kama vile maneno au matendo. Na inawezekana kwamba kinachomaanishwa na uchafu ni matendo na maneno yote maovu, kwa hivyo hii inakuwa amri anayoamrishwa kuacha madhambi, madogo na makubwa, ya dhahiri na yaliyofichikana, kwa hivyo inaingia katika hilo ushirikina na yaliyo chini yake.
