Al-A'raaf
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوهُم مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ 82
{82} "Na halikuwa jibu la kaumu yake isipokuwa walisema, "Watoeni kutoka katika mji wenu. Maana wao hakika ni watu wanaojitakasa." Yaani wanajiepusha na kufanya machafu, "nao hawakuona baya lolote kwao isipokuwa kuwa walimwamini Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye nguvu kuu, Msifiwa zaidi."
