Al-A'raaf

وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالًا يَعْرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ 48
{48} Kisha akataja la mahususi baada ya la jumla, akasema: "Na watu hao wa Minyanyukoni watawaita watu wanaowajua kwa alama zao." Nao ni miongoni mwa watu wa Motoni, na katika dunia hii walikuwa na fahari, na heshima, na mali, na watoto. Kwa hivyo watu wa Minyanyukoni wakawaambia walipowaona wako peke yao katika adhabu, bila ya msaidizi wala mwokozi "hakukuwafaa kitu kujumuika kwenu" katika dunia ambako mlijizuia kwako machukizo, na kufikia kwako katika kutimiza matakwa yenu katika dunia. Lakini leo kumepotea na wala hakutawafaa kitu. Na vile vile kiliwafaa nini kiburi chenu dhidi ya haki na yale iliyokuja nayo na dhidi ya yule aliyeifuata?
