Al-A'raaf
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ إِذَا مَسَّهُمْ طَـٰٓئِفٌ مِّنَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ تَذَكَّرُوا۟ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْصِرُونَ 201
{201} Na kwa vile mja hana budi kughafilika na kushawishiwa na Shetani, ambaye hajaacha kuvizia na kusubiri kughafilika kwake, Yeye Mtukufu akataja alama ya wachamungu kutokana na wale waliopotea, na kwamba mchamungu anapoihisi dhambi na akaguswa na pepesi kutoka kwa Shetani. Basi akafanya dhambi kwa kufanya kitendo kilichoharamishwa au kuacha wajibu, anakumbuka ni kutokea mlango gani alijiwa, na ni kutokea kiingilio gani alimwingilia Shetani; na anakumbuka yale ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu amemwajibishia na yale yaliyo juu yake yanayotakiwa na imani. Kwa hivyo akapata kuona, na akamwomba Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu kumsitiria dhambi, na akalipa yale aliyozembea ndani yake kwa toba ya kweli na matendo mazuri mengi. Kwa hivyo akamrudhisha Shetani wake huku ameambulia patupu amechoka, na huku ameshamharibia kila kitu alichofanya ndani yake.
