Al-A'raaf

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ ٱلْعِجْلَ سَيَنَالُهُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَذِلَّةٌ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُفْتَرِينَ 152
{152} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu akasema akibainisha hali ya wale watu wa ndama ambao walimwabudu: "Hakika wale waliojifanyia ndama;" yaani, kuwa ni mungu "itawapata ghadhabu kutoka kwa Mola wao Mlezi, na udhalilifu katika maisha ya dunia" kama walivyomghadhibisha Mola wao Mlezi na wakaidharau amri yake. "Na hivyo ndivyo tunavyowalipa wazuao uongo." Kwa hivyo, kila mwenye kumzulia Mwenyezi Mungu ni mwenye kuidanganyia Sheria yake, mwenye kusema juu yake yale ambayo hakuyasema, basi yeye kwa hakika ana fungu katika ghadhabu kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na udhalilifu katika maisha ya dunia.
