Al-A'raaf

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَلِقَآءِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ ۚ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ 147
{147} "Na wale waliozikadhibisha Ishara zetu" kubwa, zinazoashiria usahihi wa yale tuliyowatuma nayo Mitume wetu, "na kukutana na Akhera, matendo yao yameharibika" kwa sababu yako kwa usiokuwa msingi (wa sawa), na tayari yalipoteza sharti lake, ambalo ni kuziamini Ishara za Mwenyezi Mungu na kusadiki malipo yake. "Kwani watalipwa" katika ubatilifu wa matendo yao na kutokea kwa kinyume cha makusudio yao "isipokuwa yale waliyokuwa wakiyatenda.” Kwa maana, matendo ya yule asiyeiamini Siku ya Mwisho, hatarajii malipo ndani yake, wala hayana lengo yanalolifikia. Basi ndiyo maana yakapotelea mbali na yakabatilika.
