Al-A'raaf
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَـٰفٍ ثُمَّ لَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ 124
{124} "Lazima nitaikata mikono yenu na miguu yenu kwa kutofautisha." Mwovu huyu alidai kuwa wao ni waharibifu katika ardhi, na atawafanyia yale wanayofanyiwa waharibifu kwa kuikata mikono yao na miguu ya kwa kinyume. Yaani, mkono wa kulia na mguu wa kushoto, "Kisha lazima nitawasulubisha," kwenye mashina ya mitende, ili mfedheheke – kulingana na madai yake "nyote." Yaani, sitamfanyia kitendo hiki mtu mmoja bila ya mwingine. Bali nyinyi nyote mtaionja adhabu hii.
