Al-Haaqqa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادٌۢ بِٱلْقَارِعَةِ 4
{4} Kisha akataja mfano wa hali zao zilizomo duniani na zinazoonekana humo, na hayo ni yale aliyowafikishia ya adhabu kali kwa mataifa walioasi, na akasema: "Thamudi na A'di waliukadhibisha." Hao ni makabila yanayojulikana, watu waliokuwa wakiishi Al-Hijr, ambao Mwenyezi Mungu aliwatumia Mtume wake, Saleh, amani iwe juu yake, ili awakataze shirki waliyokuwamo na awaamrishe kumpwekesha, lakini waliukataa mwito wake, wakamkadhibisha, na wakakanusha aliyoyasema kuhusu Siku ya Kiyama, ambayo ni tukio kuu litakaliowatisha sana viumbe kwa vitisho vyake. Basi wakakadhibisha A'di wa kwanza, watu waliokuwa wakiishi Hadhramaut, Mwenyezi Mungu alipomtuma kwao Mtume wake Hud, rehema na amani ziwe juu yake, akiwalingania kumwabudu Mwenyezi Mungu peke yake, nao wakamkadhibisha na kuyakanusha yale aliyoyaeleza kuhusu kufufuliwa, kwa hivyo Mwenyezi Mungu akayaangamiza makundi hayo yote mawili kwa maangamizo ya haraka.
