At-Talaaq

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِۦ فَحَاسَبْنَـٰهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيدًا وَعَذَّبْنَـٰهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا 8 فَذَاقَتْ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهَا وَكَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ أَمْرِهَا خُسْرًا 9 أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا ۖ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَـٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ قَدْ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا 10
{8 - 10} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anajulisha juu ya maangamizo yake mataifa yenye nguvu na karne ambazo ziliwakadhibisha Mitume, na kwamba wingi wao na nguvu zao havikuwafaa kitu ilipowajia hesabu kali na adhabu chungu, na kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu akawaonjesha adhabu iliyotokana na matendo yao mabaya. Na pamoja na adhabu ya dunia, basi hakika Mwenyezi Mungu amewaandalia adhabu kali katika Akhera. "Basi mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu, enyi wenye akili." Yaani, enyi watu wenye akili zinazozifahamu ishara na mazingatio ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na kwamba yule aliyeziangamiza karne zilizopita kwa sababu ya kukadhibisha kwao, basi wale wa baada yao watakuwa mfano wao, na hakuna tofauti baina ya makundi mawili haya.
