At-Tur
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ 6
{6} "Na kwa bahari iliyojazwa" maji, ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu ameijaza na akaizuia isifurike juu ya uso wa ardhi, ijapokuwa kulingana na maumbile ya asili hilo linahitaji kwamba yamiminike kwa wingi juu ya uso wa ardhi, lakini hekima yake ilihitaji kwamba ayazuie kutiririka na kufurika; ili kila aina ya mnyama waweze kuishi juu ya uso wa ardhi. Na ilisemekana kwamba maana ya “masjuur” ni iliyoashwa moto. Yaani, itawashwa moto Siku ya Kiyama, iwe moto wenye mwako mkali, ijae pamoja na upana wake kila aina ya adhabu.
