At-Tur
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَـٰمُهُم بِهَـٰذَآ ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ 32
{32} "Au hizo akili zao ndio zinawaamrisha haya, au wao basi ni watu majeuri tu?" Yaani, je, huku kukanusha kwao na kauli zao hizo ambazo walizisema, je zilitokea katika akili na maoni yao? Basi ni mbaya mno akili na maoni ambazo haya ndiyo matokeo na matunda yake. Kwani akili zilizomfanya yule aliye mkamilifu zaidi wa akili katika viumbe wote kuwa ni wazimu, na zikafanya ukweli zaidi katika ukweli na haki iliyo haki zaidi ya zote kuwa uongo na batili, ndizo akili ambazo watu wazimu wanawekwa mbali nazo? Au kilichowapelekea wafanye hiyo ni dhuluma yao na kuruka kwao mipaka? Huu ndio ukweli hasa. Kwani jeuri haina kikomo ambacho hukomekea hapo. Basi haishangazi kwamba mwenye kuvuka mipaka mno anaweza kusema kila neno na kitendo.
