Al-Maaida

The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَحَسِبُوٓا۟ أَلَّا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُوا۟ وَصَمُّوا۟ ثُمَّ تَابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُوا۟ وَصَمُّوا۟ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ 71
{71} "Na wakadhani kuwa hapatakuwa majaribio." Yaani, walidhani kuwa uasi wao na kukadhibisha kwao hakutawaletea adhabu wala mateso, na wakaendelea na batili yao, na wakawa vipofu "na viziwi" kuielekea haki. "Kisha" akawainua na "akawapokelea toba zao" walipotubia kwake na wakarudi kwake. "Kisha" hawakuendelea hivyo mpaka wengi wao wakaigeukia ile hali mbaya. Basi, "tena wengi katika wao wakawa vipofu na viziwi" kwa maelezo haya, na wachache wakaendelea katika toba na imani yao. "Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuyaona vyema hayo wayatendayo;" na atamlipa kila mtendaji kwa matendo yake, ikiwa ni heri, basi kwa heri, na ikiwa ni uovu, basi kwa uovu.
