Al-Jaathiya
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ ٱتَّخَذْتُمْ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ 35
{35} "Hayo" yaliyowapata ya adhabu ni kwa sababu "nyinyi mlizifanyia mzaha Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu" ingawa zilihitaji kuwa mtu kuzikakamia na kuzifanyia bidii na kuzipokea kwa furaha na bishara njema. "Na maisha ya dunia yakawadanganya" kwa mapambo yake na matamanio yake, basi kila mmoja akatulizana juu yake, na mkayafanyia matendo mbalimbali, na mkaacha kufanyia matendo nyumba ya kubakia milele.' "Basi leo hawatatolewa humo wala hao hawatakubaliwa udhuru wao" na tena hawatarejeshwa duniani ili wafanye mema.
