Ad-Dukhaan
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. وَلَقَدِ ٱخْتَرْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 32
{32} "Na tuliwakhiari kwa elimu yetu" kwani tulijua kwamba walistahiki fadhila hiyo "kuliko walimwengu wengineo" wa zama zao, na wale waliokuwa kabla yao na baada yao. Mpaka Mwenyezi Mungu alipowaleta umma wa Muhammad - rehema na amani ziwe juu yake - basi wao wakawa bora kuliko walimwengu wote, na Mwenyezi Mungu akawafanya kuwa umma bora kabisa waliotolewa watu, na akawaneemesha kwa yale ambayo hakuwahi kuwaneemesha wengineo.
