Ash-Shura
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. Sabīl did not write or translate any of it.

وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَابَهُمُ ٱلْبَغْىُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ 39
{39} "Na ambao wanapofanyiwa jeuri" kutoka kwa maadui zao "hujitetea" kwa sababu ya nguvu zao na utukufu wao, na wala hawajidhalilishi wasioweza kujitetea. Basi hapa akawaelezea kwa imani kumtegemea Mwenyezi Mungu, kujiepusha na madhambi makubwa na machafu ambayo kwayo yanafutwa makosa madogo, na pia akawaelezea kwa kufuata kikamilifu kumuitikia Mola wao Mlezi, kusimamisha Swala, kutoa sadaka katika njia za heri, kushauriana katika mambo yao, nguvu na kujitetea dhidi ya maadui zao. Hizi ndizo sifa za ukamilifu ambazo wamezijumuisha. Na inalazimu kutokana na kuwepo kwake ndani yao, kwamba wanafanya yasiyokuwa hayo na kujiepusha kinyume chake.
