This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا سَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِمْ نَارًا كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتْ جُلُودُهُم بَدَّلْنَـٰهُمْ جُلُودًا غَيْرَهَا لِيَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا 56
{56} Na ndiyo maana akasema, “Hakika wale waliozikufuru Ishara zetu, tutawaingiza motoni,” yani wenye kuni kubwa, na joto kali. “Kila zitakapoiva ngozi zao,” yani zitakapochomeka, “tutawabadilishia ngozi nyingine ili waionje hiyo adhabu.” Yani ili adhabu iwafike kila penye kufika. Na kama vile ukafiri wao na ukaidi wao ulivyorudia, na yakawa ndiyo sifa yao na tabia yao, atawarudia adhabu kama malipo mwafaka. Na kwa sababu hiyo akasema, “Hakika, Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hekima.” Yani ana Nguvu nyingi, na hekima katika uumbaji wake, na amri, na thawabu zake, na adhabu.
