Az-Zumar
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَأَنِيبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ 54
{54} Lakini kuna sababu za kupata msamaha wake na rehema yake. Ikiwa mja hatazifanya, basi atakuwa amejifungia mlango mkuu na mtukufu zaidi wa rehema na msamaha wake, ambao hakuna sababu yoyote isipokuwa hiyo - yaani, kurejea kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa toba ya kweli, kumuomba dua, kunyenyekea, kumfanyia uungu na kumuabudu Yeye tu. Basi njooni kwenye sababu hii tukufu na njia hii kuu zaidi. Ndiyo maana Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu akaamrisha kuharakisha kurejea kwake, akisema: "Na rejeeni kwa Mola wenu Mlezi" kwa nyoyo zenu, "na silimuni kwake." Na katika kauli yake: "Kwa Mola wenu Mlezi, na silimuni kwake," kuna ushahidi wa kumkusudia Mwenyezi Mungu peke yake, na kwamba bila ya ikhlasi matendo ya nje na ya siri hayafai kitu "kabla ya kukujieni adhabu" kwa njia ambayo haiwezi kuzuilika. "Kisha hapo hamtanusuriwa."
