Az-Zumar
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ شُفَعَآءَ ۚ قُلْ أَوَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ 43
{43} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anawapinga wale wanaowafanya waombezi badala yake, wakawa wanajifungamanisha nao, na kuwaomba na kuwaabudu. "Sema" ukiwabainishia ujinga wa hivyo wanavyoviabudu na kwamba havistahiki ibada yoyote. "Ingawa hawana mamlaka juu ya kitu chochote," si hata uzito wa chembe mbinguni wala ardhini, wala kidogo zaidi yake, wala kikubwa kuliko hivyo. Hata hawana akili wanayostahiki kusifiwa kwayo, kwa sababu ni vitu visivyo na uhai, kama vile mawe, miti, picha na watu waliokufa. Je, inaweza semwa kwamba anayevichukua akaviabudu ana akili, au yeye ndiye aliyepotea zaidi ya wote, mjinga na dhalimu zaidi yao wote?
