As-Saaffaat
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَـٰرِقِ 5
{5} "Mola Mlezi wa mbingu na ardhi, na yaliyomo kati yao, na ni Mola Mlezi wa mashariki zote." Yaani, Yeye ndiye Muumba wa viumbe hivi vyote, Mwenye kuviruzuku, na Mwenye kuviendesha. Kwa hivyo, kama vile Yeye hana mshirika yeyote katika umola wake juu yao, basi vile vile hana mshirika yeyote katika uungu wake. Mungu Mwenyezi mara nyingi husimamisha hoja ya upweke wake katika uungu kwa kusimamisha hoja ya upweke wake katika umola; kwa sababu umola unaashiria uungu. Hili ni kwa sababu washirikina pia walikiri hilo katika ibada, kwa hivyo akawafanya kulazimika kukubali kile walichokataa kwa sababu ya kile walichokikiri. Na Mwenyezi Mungu aliyataja Mashariki hapa kwa njia maalumu kwa sababu yanaashiria Magharibi, au kwa sababu ndiyo mashariki ya nyota ambayo ataitaja. Ndiyo maana akasema:
