Saba
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلْغَفُورُ 2
{2} Na ndiyo maana akabainisha kwa kina kwamba ni mwenye kujua kwa kusema, "Anajua yanayoingia katika ardhi." Yaani, kama vile mvua, mbegu na wanyama, "na yanayotoka humo" miongoni mwa aina mbalimbali za mimea na aina mbalimbali za wanyama, "na yanayoteremka kutoka mbinguni" kama vile mali, riziki na mapitisho yake "na yanayopanda huko" kama vile malaika, roho, na mambo mengine. Na alipotaja viumbe vyake, hekima ya kuhusiana nao, na kujua kwake hali zao; akataja msamaha wake na rehema yake kwao, akasema "Na Yeye ni Mwenye kurehemu, Mwenye kusamehe." Yaani, yule ambaye sifa yake ni rehema na msamaha. Na athari zake hazijaacha kuendelea kuwashukia waja wakati wote kwa mujibu wa yale waliyoyafanya katika mambo yanayolazimu kushuka kwake.
