Al-Ahzaab
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّآ أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠ 67
{67} "Na watasema: "Mola wetu Mlezi, hakika sisi tuliwatii bwana zetu na wakubwa wetu" na tukawaiga katika upotovu wao, "nao ndio waliotupoteza njia." Kama Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu alivyosema, "Na siku ambayo mwenye kudhulumu atajiuma mikono yake, na huku anasema: Laiti ningelishika njia pamoja na Mtume! Ee Ole wangu! Laiti nisingelimfanya fulani kuwa rafiki! Hakika alinipoteza, nikaacha Ukumbusho, baada ya kwisha nijia... hadi mwisho wa Aya.
