Al-Ahzaab
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. يَسْـَٔلُكَ ٱلنَّاسُ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا 63
{63} Yaani, watu wanakuuliza kuhusu Saa ya Kiyama kwa kuifanyia haraka, na baadhi yao kwa kukadhibisha kutokea kwake, na hata kuona kwamba aliyeahidi kuileta hana uwezo, "Sema" uwaambie, "Ujuzi wake uko kwa Mwenyezi Mungu." Yeye pekee ndiye anayejua hilo. Kwa hivyo, mimi mwenyewe silijui wala hata mwingine yeyote hana elimu yoyote juu yake, na pamoja na hayo, "Na nini kitakujulisha, pengine hiyo Saa iko karibu?"
