Al-Ahzaab
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَصَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّآ إِيمَـٰنًا وَتَسْلِيمًا 22
{22} Alipotaja hali ya wanafiki wanapoogopa; akataja hali ya Waumini na akasema: Na Waumini walipoyaona makundi, wale walioungana na wakateremka kwenye vyeo vyao, na hofu ikakoma, wakasema: Haya ndiyo aliyotuahidi Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake katika kauli yake: Au mlidhani kuwa mtaingia Peponi ulipowafikia mfano wa waliopita kabla yenu msiba na balaa, wakatikisika mpaka Mtume na walioamini pamoja naye wakasema: "Lini litawafikia? Mwenyezi Mungu atupe ushindi?” Hakika ushindi wa Mwenyezi Mungu u karibu.Na Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake wamesema kweli, maana tumeyaona haya aliyotujulisha, wala hayakuwazidishia mambo hayo isipokuwa imani mioyoni mwao, na utiifu katika viungo vyao, na kutii amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu.
