Al-Muminoon
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ 32
{32} "Kisha tukawatumia Mtume miongoni mwao," ambaye walikuwa wanajua ukoo wake, hadhi yake, na ukweli wake, ili liwe hilo la kuwafanya kumfuata kwa wepesi ikiwa yeye ni miongoni mwao yuko mbali na wao kumchukia. Kwa hivyo akawalingania katika yale waliyolingania Mitume wengineo umma zao, kwamba, "Muabuduni Mwenyezi Mungu! Hamna mungu yeyote asiyekuwa Yeye." Wote walikubaliana juu ya mwito huu, ambao ndio mwito wa kwanza wanaowalingania umma wao, yaani, amri ya kumuabudu Mwenyezi Mungu, na kujulisha kwamba Yeye tu ndiye anayestahiki hilo, na kukataza kuabudu kitu kingine chochote kile, na kujulisha ubatili wake na uharibifu wake. Basi ndiyo maana akasema, "Je, hamchi," Mola wenu Mlezi, kwa hivyo mkayaepuka masanamu haya na vyote vinavyoabudiwa kando na Mwenyezi Mungu.
