Al-Hajj
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِۦ سُلْطَـٰنًا وَمَا لَيْسَ لَهُم بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ ۗ وَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ 71
{71} Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anataja hali ya wale wanaomshirikisha kuwa ni madhalimu kwake, na kwamba hali yao ni hali mbaya zaidi; na kwamba hawana msingi wa waliyoyafanya. Hawana ujuzi nayo, bali ni hadithi waliyoipokea kutoka kwa baba zao wapotofu, na mtu anaweza kuwa hana ujuzi wa aliyoyafanya, na katika jambo hilo hilo, ana hoja ambayo hakuijua. Basi hapa Mwenyezi Mungu anasema kwamba hakuteremsha "mamlaka" katika jambo hilo. Yaani, hoja inayoibainisha na kuiruhusu, bali ameteremsha hoja za uthabiti na ubatilifu wake. Kisha akawatishia madhalimu miongoni mwao wanaoifanyia jeuri haki. Na akasema, "Na madhalimu hawana msaidizi:" atakayewaokoa na adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu inapowashukia, na ikawafikia.
