Al-Anbiyaa
This is a translation of Tafsīr as-Saʿdī as IslamHouse.com publishes it at saadi.islamenc.com, read from that site’s pages. The site does not say who translated it or which printed edition it follows, and states no terms for taking its text, so the right to show it is not verified. Nobody has compared it with a printed book, and no scholar has reviewed it. Each passage stands beside the verses it comments on, which are the Qur’ān text of Tanzil, shown as it is there; a verse the site gives no commentary of its own stands with the passage before it, and the index names each such verse. وَلِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ عَاصِفَةً تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِى بَـٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا ۚ وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَـٰلِمِينَ 81
{81} "Na tukamsahilishia Suleiman upepo." Yaani, tulimfanyia uwe "wa kimbunga." Yaani, ni mwepesi katika upitaji wake, "wendao kwa amri yake" popote unapogeuka unaafikiana na amri Yake. Asubuhi yake ni mwezi na mwisho wake ni mwezi "kwenye ardhi tuliyoibarikia." Nayo ni nchi ya Shamu; mahali palipokuwa makao yake, atakwenda kwa upepo wa mashariki na magharibi, na kimbilio lake na marejeo yake yatakuwa kwenye nchi iliyobarikiwa."Na Sisi ndio tunaojua kila kitu." Elimu yetu ilikizunguka kila kitu, na tukajifunza kwa Daudi na Sulaiman tuliyowafikishia tuliyoyataja.
